In United Kingdom (U.K), The Embassy of Belgium in U.K/Consulates of Belgium in U.K are the sole representatives of Belgium who issue Visa to U.K citizens or residents for Belgium.
The Embassy/Consulates of Belgium issue Visa for Belgium as well as Schengen Visa which permits the applicant to visit any of the 26 member states which are part of Schengen Zone under Schengen Agreement.
If you are just visiting any single Schengen country (e.g. Belgium here), then apply to the appropriate embassy/consulate of that country (Belgium Embassy/Consulate in this case).
If you plan to visit more than one Schengen country then it is recommended that you should apply to the Embassy/Consulate of that country in which you will be staying the longest. In case, there is no major destination but you are going to visit randomly to many countries, then apply in the Embassy/Consulate of the country which is your first point of travel or destination.
The Visa Application Centre does not prepare the applications but accepts and processes the applications as per the instructions and norms of Embassy/Consulates.
Fees is non-refundable and will not be returned to you if Visa Application is rejected by the respective Embassy/Consulate.
The Embassy/Consulate will send a Refusal Letter to you stating the reasons of refusal.
A person is free to reapply in case his/her application for Visa has been refused. There is no time period or gap to be observed before you make a fresh application but make sure that you meet the criteria due to which the application was rejected previously before making any fresh application.
